RESITRIX® is an EPDM rubber, self-adhesive waterproofing membrane. The success of this product stems from the ease of application, and the added safety bonus of no naked flame, as it’s a self-adhered to the existing membranes, metals, plywood, concrete or insulation with the laps hot air welded.

This product comes with a 20 year warranty which is given upon final inspection and approval, and the life expectancy of the product is in excess of 50 years. It has proven very popular in valleys, parapets and flat roofs as you can install 10m runs of RESITRIX® with no joints as the membrane has 500% expansion and will move with the valleys. The product can also be installed fully exposed, for fully bonded systems or beneath roof gardens. The anti-slip surface of the 2.5mm membrane also makes this system more durable as it can be trafficked.

RESITRIX® is the only waterproofing membrane with a patented combination of high-quality polymer modified bitumen and synthetic rubber EPDM that is fully elastic and capable of withstanding ageing processes, as well as any kind of weather exposure. Therefore, RESITRIX® is highly resistant against extreme climatic influences and temperature changes. It can be rapidly and easily installed and is suited for all applications in new constructions and refurbishments in every climate. We supply this product in black or grey and are proud to be the sole company in Limerick City and county for Resitrix installation.

RESITRIX® does not need metals or fixings as it is fully adhered to the insulation and upstands.

It is 2.5mm thick compared to a 1.5mm PVC/TPO membrane and has a non-slip surface which is an extra safety bonus for people doing maintenance in the future. Since all of the RESITRIX® membranes can be walked on that means you will not have the added costs of putting down extra PVC walkways.

It’s a much faster material to weld which means you’ll have extra labour savings and can move onto other parts of the roof, such as the slating.

When welding, you get a visible bitumen bead out of the laps to prove it is sealed for a lifetime.

It can be laid on old torch on felt, Asphalt, plywood, concrete, EPDM rubber membranes, insulation, glass, fiber glass and metals (it can not be laid on PVC).

RESITRIX® is the only single-ply membrane in the world that can be laid to zero falls, and can be used as a tanking membrane for carparks, etc.

RESITRIX® SKW Full Bond has root protection and can be used for Green Roofs (FLL root-safe cert).

RESITRIX® is a bituminous based product which means it is a lot harder to burn the membrane and can not be damaged by cigarettes.

As RESITRIX® is an EPDM membrane, it will not expand or contract depending on the weather.
